The Calling: As a Junior Account Executive , you will be integral in forming partnerships with school districts of small to medium sizes to help all students succeed by improving their RTI / MTSS practice. You will be able to create successful outbound sequences utilizing company tools (CRM) and protocols for pipeline development. This role reports to the Sales Manager, Jr. AE & Enablement, and Chief Sales Officer.
What You Will Achieve: Schedule meetings with districts in your territory for yourself

Sell Branching Minds platform and related Professional Services

Build partnerships with district leaders and help them achieve student success for all learners

Leverage our existing partners to drive new opportunities, as well as to work with them to grow these existing partnerships

Own the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing on districts with up to 5,000 students

Show off your outbound cold-calling hustle and presentation skills via a webinar

Flex your strong organization and reporting abilities

Communicate and work with the team on overall sales and marketing strategies

Manage transitions to the customer support team to ensure customer success

Manage contact lifecycle transitions from a lead to a customer

Deliver high-impact presentations and engagement at conferences and district site visits.
Why We Want You:  Proven track record of selling district-level educational technology to K–12 school systems, particularly in California, Colorado & Washington, with a focus on MTSS, RTI, intervention, or assessment tools OR Experience supporting or leading the implementation of MTSS-related products in California, Colorado & Washington

Demonstrated ability to write and communicate compelling, tailored proposals, follow-up messages, and strategic outreach that resonate with West Coast district priorities and funding initiatives.

Skilled in developing trusted, consultative relationships with district stakeholders

Excited by our mission and ready to seize on the momentum we have built as a leader in RTI/MTSS

Comfortable with the dynamic, self-motivated, collaborative, fast-paced culture of a startup, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team

Lucky Us If You: (No biggie if you don’t)

Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales goals

Demonstrated experience with territory and call cycle management, as well as strong customer service and listening skills

Achieved proficiency with business process technology, including CRM software, G-Suite (Gmail, Docs, Drive Calendar), and Microsoft Office

Operated effectively within a distributed team, utilizing tools such as Slack and Zoom

Interview Process: If we are a match, you can expect a total of 3 steps in the interview process after the initial application:

15 minute pre-screener to align on details

45-minute Video/Phone Interview with the Sales Manager

60-minute Final Round with Sales Team Leadership, with a written exercise prompt to submit in advance

Salary Range: $62,000–$67,000 base annual compensation (depending on experience and expertise), with an on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $120,00.00
