Job Description Summary: The Global Product Marketing Manager will lead the downstream marketing strategy for the related portfolio sub‑segment. This role is responsible for the end‑to‑end NPI commercialization process, from scope definition with the Global Product Manager, through value proposition and evidence generation, to commercial deployment, training, and funnel creation. The manager identifies and develops growth opportunities, improves profit margin, and increases market share.
Responsibilities

Achieve new orders and market‑share goals for the product (or product segment) through developing and executing the product marketing plan.
Perform clinical and industry trend analysis, market‑share and competitive analysis, and win/loss tracking to identify product and commercial growth strategies.
Quantify and prioritize market opportunity.
Collect and prioritize product introduction and improvement recommendations and analyze the competitive landscape.
Identify budget requirements to ensure proper execution.
Orchestrate research to assess market and customer environments and discover unmet needs, buying cycles, and personas.
Identify customers’ clinical and economic needs, values, and desired benefits.
Build a global market requirements document that prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities.
Assess market and distribution risks and develop a mitigation plan.
Work with Global Segment Marketing Managers, Region Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Global Design to provide input to the product development roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new product ideas.
Co‑operate with Region Product Marketing to perform installed base analysis for customer loyalty, shared‑wallet, and retention programs.
Collaborate with Product Management to include loyalty programs on product roadmaps.
Develop evidence‑generation plans for selected NPIs and installed‑base products.
Prepare inputs to support the business case for NPIs, including target pricing and product positioning.
Define brand (naming & trademarks), value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims roadmap for new and existing products.
Interview professional societies and advocacy groups to identify and select KOLs for thought leadership and awareness building.
Support development of regional KOLs with Regional Building and execute a global product launch plan, including value proposition, segmentation/positioning, target pricing, awareness & advocacy strategies, channel strategy, and sales enablement.
Coordinate development of marketing assets and product training materials with Marketing Services.
Develop programs that improve the customer experience of the installed base to support retention.
Apply gold‑standard marketing practices to develop a global marketing plan, covering portfolio management, strategy, segmentation and targeting, positioning, message development, and market assets.
Ensure regional marketing plans align with the global plan and collaborate on marketing mix selection.
Work with Advertising & Promotion and Communications to develop a communications plan supporting the marketing objective.
Identify and manage the budget needed to execute the marketing plan and ensure timely implementation of programs.
Create a global product/portfolio strategy, including product positioning and the current portfolio.
Identify programs to enhance customer loyalty and installed‑base retention.
Provide input to the product/solutions roadmap.
Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (an MSc or PhD is an advantage).
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in MR, medical device marketing or sales, or a related field.
Leadership skills to lead and/or influence teams and shape growth vision and marketing strategy.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to motivate and lead a team of reports.
Strong analytical and process skills.
Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence.
Preferred Qualifications

PhD in Biomedical Engineering or MR physics.
MR clinical experience as an industry clinical educator or marketing leader.
Strong communication and influential skills to interact with engineers and high‑profile customers.
Previous sales or marketing experience in imaging equipment.
Benefits

Annual compensation range: $177,600.00 – $266,400.00 (U.S. positions only).
Performance‑based incentive compensation, including cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives.
