Qualifications
What You'll Do (Your Impact)
In this leadership role, you will:
Lead and elevate the physics & dosimetry program
across the cancer center-driving strategy, performance, and innovation
Partner closely with physicians, therapists, and clinical leaders
to deliver safe, precise, and cutting-edge radiation oncology care
Oversee clinical operations , including treatment planning, quality assurance, and program expansion (including brachytherapy)
Mentor and develop a high-performing team
of physicists, dosimetrists, and technical staff
Drive quality improvement initiatives
that enhance patient outcomes and operational excellence
Guide technology integration and program development , ensuring alignment with Mass General Brigham standards and best practices
Shape the future of care delivery
through collaboration with the broader MGB Cancer Institute

What You Bring
Must-Have Qualifications
Master's degree in Physics (PhD strongly preferred)
American Board of Radiology (ABR) Certification
5+ years of clinical medical physics experience (including accelerator and brachytherapy)
3+ years of leadership or management experience
Deep expertise in radiation oncology physics and dosimetry practices
Key Leadership Capabilities
Proven ability to
lead teams and drive performance
in a clinical oncology setting
Strong
collaboration and communication skills
across multidisciplinary teams
Experience managing
budgets, resources, and program operations
Track record of
quality improvement and innovation in patient care
Compensation
Estimated range:
$200K - $270K (based on experience and qualifications)
