Job Summary
WVIR-TV in Charlottesville, Virginia is looking for a Multimedia Journalist who is passionate about real journalism, ready to immerse themselves in the community, find stories that genuinely impact people, and bring solid enterprise coverage every day.

Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements

Strong shooting and editing skills; teamwork and willingness to work hard.

Ability to generate lead story ideas daily.

Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field; proven track record through internships and newsroom experience.

Pay & Schedule
Pay (VA): $18.00/hr (Yr 1), $18.54/hr (Yr 2), $19.10/hr (Yr 3). Schedule varies (morning/afternoon/evening); specific schedule set by the newsroom.
