Job Summary
WOIO-WUAB TV (Gray Media Cleveland) is looking for an experienced journalist to join our Digital Content Producer/Assignment Desk Team. The role involves writing and posting news stories to various platforms, including social media, communicating with state and local agencies, speaking with viewers, assigning crews to breaking news stories, and coordinating live coverage.

Responsibilities

Write and post news stories to various platforms, including social media.

Communicate with state and local agencies.

Speak with viewers.

Assign crews to breaking news stories.

Coordinate live coverage.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience in a journalism-related field.

Journalism degree preferred.

Knowledge of AP style required.

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.

Highly motivated self-starter, able to work well independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.
