Job Description Summary
Assist with day to day operations of the Theatre Department.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current University of La Verne student with Federal Work Study eligibility for the 2023-2024 academic year. Demonstrate a familiarity with some of the tools and techniques related to the theatre such as sewing, painting, drawing, graphic design, carpentry, electrics, computer software, video, or computer programming by providing a letter of recommendation that speaks to the candidates character and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working backstage on more than one high school or college theatre production. Experience completing projects related to building or construction or craft at home or at another institution, or demonstrate through a portfolio or a letter of recommendation, a familiarity with tools and techniques related to the theatre such as sewing, painting, drawing, graphic design, carpentry, electrics, electronics, computer software, video, or computer programming. Patience, a sense of humor, and a sincere desire to help others achieve the highest levels of success in technical theatre in order to foster life long learning, diversity, and community building.
Work Schedule
Flexible Schedule working weekdays, some evenings and weekends. Ideal candidates can work Monday and Wednesday between 1-4p.
