Overview
Gorbel’s mission is simple: We improve people’s lives. As a manufacturer of material handling and fall protection products, we’re seeking a Product Marketing Manager to lead strategic marketing efforts across product lines.
Responsibilities
Develop strategic sales and marketing plans for product lines to accomplish corporate goals.
Contribute to sales forecasting activities for responsible product lines.
Lead marketing activities on target markets: identify high‑potential markets/applications, improve lead generation, and explore new channel and OEM opportunities.
Identify and develop tools for competitive positioning.
Lead international market research: identify market entry opportunities and build marketing plans.
Set pricing or recommend price changes.
Develop sales support tools, including marketing collateral, web content, and sales programs.
Assess competitive product changes and market changes; adapt strategy accordingly.
Travel with territory reps to observe, educate, evaluate performance; meet key clients and assist in relationship management and closing deals.
Develop customer journey assets from awareness to post‑sale.
Participate in product development teams: provide sales estimates, channel and market information, specifications, and launch plans.
Represent Gorbel at trade shows, dealer events, and industry seminars.
Support development of dealer training content.
Qualifications
College degree required; MBA preferred.
3‑5 years of progressive product or market management experience.
Proven ability to translate market input into plans and lead execution.
Excellent verbal and written communication; proven negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; HubSpot and Microsoft Copilot preferred.
Strong customer/quality focus, long‑term strategic thinking, effective planning, project management, leadership, and follow‑through.
Travel Requirement
Travel of 20–25% required.
Work Environment
ADA physical, mental, and workplace requirements: occasional lifting up to 25lb. Primary work environment is a professional corporate office. Employees may work extended periods at desk or computer.

Compensation
Salary range: $94,945 – $142,148 (adjusted for skills, experience, and business needs).
