We are currently seeking a full-time Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in Wiscasset, Maine on 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday-Thursday).

Position Overview
The Production Technician performs a variety of hands‑on manufacturing and processing duties required to produce Specialty Wound Care products. This role supports the full manufacturing process—from raw materials through finished goods—while following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all safety and quality requirements.

This is an entry‑level position with comprehensive, paid on‑the‑job training, making it an excellent opportunity to begin or grow a career in manufacturing.

Schedule & Pay

Day Shift:

3:00 PM - 1:00 AM (Monday-Thursday)

Starting pay:

$21.75 per hour

Paid breaks

What You'll Do

Perform production processing duties in the manufacturing of Specialty Wound Care products

Manufacture fluidized medium used to produce Fluidized Positioners from raw materials to finished goods

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), quality guidelines, and documentation requirements

Prepare, inspect, monitor, and operate production materials and equipment

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and equipment in compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines

Identify and promptly report quality, equipment, or safety concerns to the Team Lead or Supervisor

Contribute to efficient and safe manufacturing through attention to detail and Lean manufacturing principles

Participate in training, learning programs, and individual development planning

What You'll Need
Required:

Strong work ethic with a flexible, hands‑on approach

Ability to work effectively in a team‑based environment

Good communication and organizational skills

Comfortable using basic hand tools

Willingness to learn and follow GMP and ISO quality systems

Ability to make sound decisions independently and as part of a team

Ability to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as business needs require

Physical & Work Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Over 75% of the workday spent standing or walking

Regular lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, and grasping

Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator

Close and color vision required

Preferred:

Prior manufacturing or production experience

Basic familiarity with process equipment

Note: This position involves working near equipment that may be hazardous for individuals with pacemakers.
