Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, sharp, and innovative Agent Support representative to help with communication, organization and coordination between agents, agencies, and carriers. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing paperwork, providing agent support, tracking policy statuses, and building relationships with our agents nationwide.
Primary Responsibilities
Proficient in professional verbal and written communication with agents.
Manage multiple email inboxes and respond to inquiries promptly.
Handle phone calls from agents, agencies, and carriers and return voicemails in a timely manner.
Use Excel and Word for creating and managing reports and templates for agents.
Conduct “Welcome Calls” and introduce new agents.
Be knowledgeable about various Medicare carriers and their processes.
Understand commission structures from carriers.
Troubleshoot issues for agents related to their clients.
Learn and use multiple systems and resources.
Collaborate with team members and other departments.
Assist with and understand certifications for Medicare carriers.
Navigate different carrier websites.
Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team.
Primary Skills & Requirements
High School diploma or GED.
0-2 years of related experience.
Licensed to sell health and life insurance (preferred).
Experience with Medicare and/or the Affordable Care Act.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong listening skills.
Attention to detail.
Organizational skills.
Strong customer service skills.
