Marketing Intern – KHTS FM 98.1 & AM 1220
KHTS FM 98.1 & AM-1220 is looking for an intern to join our marketing team. KHTS is not just a radio station. In addition to radio, we have our award winning website, hometownstation.com, full news and features, web, SEO, graphics, and video production departments. We offer various advertising, web, SEO, print, and social media packages. This is a great position for those interested in web and new media marketing, web content management, or to gain more experience with writing content for the web. It is an excellent learning experience in a real‑life setting.

This is an unpaid internship position.

Job Responsibilities

Write web content: Write articles and landing pages for clients for the award winning website, www.nhometownstation.com, or other websites.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Learn to write articles and landing pages using effective keywords and tools to maximize SEO.

Social Media Marketing: Create social media posts that will reach our advertiser’s target market.

Start your career with us: Many interns love the job because it can lead to an opportunity to continue with us after the internship is complete, possibly in marketing or Web/SEO departments.

Job Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent Internet and computer skills.

Must possess interest in online marketing and search engine optimization.

Knowledge of social media sites/tools and currently active in social networking.

Basic knowledge of HTML.

Must be proficient in the use of web browsers, MS Office, and Google docs.
