Air Liquide Large Industries provides our customers with industrial gas and energy solutions that are vital to their own industrial production. We own and operate over 2,000 miles of industrial gas pipelines in the U.S., supplying mainly oxygen, nitrogen, hydrogen, and syngas to major customers in the chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, and steel industries. Our pipeline operations and industrial gas production facilities are monitored 24/7 from a leading‑edge operations control center located in Houston, Texas. The operations control group monitors over 89,000 data points and assists with product supply and coordination, continually optimizing the supply network to provide high reliability and energy efficiencies.

Job Responsibilities

Cultivates and shares basic skills for the process plant, working in partnership with more senior technicians while completing training tasks

Participates in Time‑Out investigations, documents incidents, retrieves Airgas and site‑specific operating procedures, incident/injury reporting, and familiarizes with the work order process

Acquires knowledge and abilities in all plant operations, processes, equipment, and site‑specific action plans

Supports and confirms on‑site contractors, vendors, guests, or visitors have site‑specific training requirements met and documented, and performs administrative coordination responsibilities as delegated by the Plant Manager

Exhibits understanding of and performs job duties in compliance with all local and federal regulations (FDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, cGMP) and company policies (MOC, PPSR, etc.)

Collaborates with national and local product scheduling to meet customer requirements and ensures documentation and reporting requirements are completed on time and accurately

Demonstrates dedication to company policies, safety guidelines, and procedural standards, championing safety by being safety‑mindful and modeling good safety practices, and complies with qualification and training programs in electronic training systems

Completes Airgas Safety Pledge and introductory Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality training

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including 12‑hour rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotation

Valid U.S. employment authorization; no visa sponsorship required

Preferred Qualifications

2–5 years of experience working in an industrial facility

Experience dealing with cryogenics
