$50.00-60.00 per hour
Seeking a hard-working, loyal, energetic, and experienced head dance coach for competitive dance teams on the Upper East Side/West Side for the 2026-27 season. The role requires availability on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays from September to May, with additional commitments in June and August for summer dance intensives.
Responsibilities:
Serve as head coach for hip‑hop and street jazz dance teams.
Develop and execute training programs for competitive teams.
Instruct student dancers on hip‑hop, sassy jazz, and dance‑team techniques.
Prepare teams for season competitions and end‑season showcase.
Collaborate with Studio staff to ensure program quality.
Qualifications:
Former or current professional team or college team dancer preferred.
Experience coaching competitive hip‑hop or street jazz dance teams.
Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills.
Availability for full season commitment (September 2026 – May 2027) and summer intensives.
Trial Period:

Candidates will be required to conduct a brief trial class at our Upper East Side location as part of the audition/interview process.
