Roles & Responsibilities

Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner as they approach the bar.
Protect establishment and patrons by strictly adhering to company policy as well as all state/local Health Department regulations, sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
Maintain professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
Present menus to guests and promote specials and/or specialty house drinks.
Check guest identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirement for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
Efficiently operate restaurant equipment (e.g., telephone, juice machine, soda fountain, etc.).
Maintain knowledge of the menu items and assist guests by explaining how various menu items are prepared.
Take guest orders, communicate orders to kitchen, and serve food and beverages in a friendly and professional manner.
Periodically check on guests to ensure all needs and expectations are being met.
Continuously monitor guests for potential intoxication and determine when alcohol service should cease.
Adhere to all bar‑related RAMP, TIPS, I‑PACT safety training protocols.
Utilize Point of Sale (POS) and registers to accurately run tabs, prepare checks, and successfully record all financial transactions.
Store and stock refrigerators, ice machines, cups, straws, napkins and other service items as needed.
Sanitize and clean service areas, bar tops, and surrounding bar areas, as needed.
Manage to‑go orders and retrieve them from the kitchen, as needed.
Promptly elevate any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or emergencies to the proper authorities.
All other duties assigned by leadership.
Education & Experience

No education requirements for this position.
1+ years of previous bartender experience highly desired but not required.
Previous experience with alcoholic beverage serving and associated regulations would be helpful.
Must be Bartender/Server Certified (TIPS, RAMP, I‑PACT, or similar) or become so within 30 days of hire if required by state and local guidelines.
Language: Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; Spanish or other bilingual language skills are a plus.
Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age to comply with New Hampshire Child Labor Laws.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work until later hours of the night.
Must have negative TB test results within the last two years.
Must have reliable transportation to and from your scheduled shift.
Ability to comply with all uniform policies.
Ability to refrain from on‑the‑job consumption of alcohol.
Must possess a safety‑oriented mindset and understand the importance of complying with all state and local beverage preparation and serving regulations.
Must possess exceptional customer service skills, with an ability to resolve questions, problems, issues, and concerns in a positive and professional manner.
Ability to positively engage with guests to promote sales and customer satisfaction.
Previous experience with Point of Sale (POS) technology and PCI compliance a plus.
Ability to follow direction, multi‑task, and work as part of a team as well as independently.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and remain on feet for majority of the workday.
Ability to frequently stoop, twist, kneel, bend, squat, or reach above shoulders.
Ability to remain sedentary for periods of time while using a computer or POS.
Ability to withstand heat and humidity from food preparation equipment.
Ability to carry, push, pull, lift, and hold objects weighing 40 pounds or more.
Ability to consistently use hands to grasp, control, move objects/tools.
Ability to use step stools, as needed.
Working Conditions

Role will be based in one or more F&B and/or restaurant locations throughout the park, with exposure to both indoor and outdoor environments.
Frequent exposure to variable outside temperatures, including high heat, cold, direct sun, humidity, dust, rain, and other weather conditions.
Subject to constant repetitive motion, high noise levels, flashing lights, and heavily populated environments.
Subject to frequent handling of cleaning chemicals and detergents.
Subject to frequent interruptions and requests that may require reprioritization of activities.
