About the project: Four longtime friends come together to steal a statue from a swanky art museum. The statue itself is haunted by the spirit of Nicolette Brassard, the most famous and accurate psychic in history.

Rate: Non-paid.

Location: Richmond, VA (RVA) / Chesterfield area. Prioritizing those local to the RVA or DMV area, or those who can reliably commute to Richmond and Chesterfield. No travel or accommodation provided for those outside the area.

Some lead roles involve scenes portraying years-long intimacy — no nudity, but flirting, kissing, and some physical contact in one scene. A licensed intimacy coordinator will be present.

Table read: July 9–11 (TBD).
Pre‑production: Late June–July 2026 (estimate).
Filming: Late August–Late November 2026 (estimate).

Self‑tapes due: June 23 at 11:59 PM. Casting decisions will go out the following day.

Roles

MONTGOMERY “OCEAN” GODFREY

– Male 23‑27 y.o. All ethnicities
Bisexual son of a mostly unknown but fairly wealthy crime family. A thief who’s a little above amateur. Has aspirations of becoming a career criminal. Mildly confusing but staunch belief in spiritual matters and the paranormal or supernatural. Smooth talker, witty, plans down to the most minute details every time, and scarcely encounters failure – at least, that’s what he likes to tell himself.

TRISTAN ROBINSON

– Male 25‑29 y.o. All ethnicities
Ocean’s best friend since childhood. Did a lot of teenage/early young adult criminal activities with Ocean, quit while he was ahead when he started dating Annabel in college. Now does his best to lead a law‑abiding lifestyle, but always somehow finds himself ensnared in the trap that is Ocean Godfrey. Stubborn as a mule, prone to anxiety and awkwardness, hugely into his girlfriend.

ANNABEL WILLIAMS

– Female 24‑28 y.o. All ethnicities
Ocean’s other best friend, Tristan’s loving girlfriend. Ex‑theatre major turned elementary school librarian. Has a thrill‑seeking side and is always quick to answer when Ocean calls. Easy going personality, down for mostly anything, quick to think on her feet, deeply loyal. Knows Tristan would end the world over her despite his personality, and absolutely loves it where she is.

ISABELLA FLORENCE GODFREY

– Female 19‑22 y.o. All ethnicities
Ocean’s adorable, crazed little sister. Currently holed up in a women’s jail on arson charges, but has the capacity to escape anytime she wants. Kleptomaniac. Has their father’s criminal mastermind, but hasn’t properly put it to good use yet. Probably out of spite? Wants to grow beyond their family name, but her and Ocean are also super tight, so she often puts her spite aside for him, as she does genuinely enjoy doing criminal activity with her brother.

ORLANDO ARTIGA

– Male 23‑27 y.o. All ethnicities
Ocean’s on again off again boyfriend of about 2 years. Art museum tour guide. Very proud of his job. Always fashionably dressed. A little uptight and strict, so he compliments Ocean well (when they’re getting along). Has a tendency to be snarky. Still somewhat weak to Ocean’s charms even though he knows they’re charms, but he’s raising his standards.
