To elevate the events program for authors, the full-time salaried Publicity and Events Manager will develop and execute event strategies, manage logistics for various events, and direct PR and social strategies, all while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from select states.
Key responsibilities

Develop and execute events strategy for Sourcebooks Kids authors, including bookstore signings and large-scale events
Manage full event logistics such as venue outreach, booking, travel coordination, and communication with authors and teams
Direct PR and social strategy for events, including crafting pitches, securing media coverage, and designing event assets

Required qualifications

3+ years of experience in book publicity, marketing, or author events
Proven track record of building relationships with booksellers, media, or event venues
Familiarity with tools used in book marketing, such as Bookscan and social media platforms
Ability to manage multiple events and timelines simultaneously
Genuine enthusiasm for children's books and authors
