Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our Retirement Sales team as aDivisional Sales Manager, aligned to the Bank and Wirehouse distribution channel!
About the role
As the Divisional Vice President, you will provide daily leadership and sales coaching to approximately 12 Symetra Regional Vice Presidents, including frequent field visits and continued performance and skill assessment. You will report directly to and partner with the Channel Vice President. You will ensure that wholesaling teams are working efficiently while providing training and sales coaching.
What you will do
- Manage sales activities and provide leadership, training, and guidance to the external wholesaling team
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accomplish product sales goals
- Partner with product and channel marketing to assist with product positioning and training for new product launches/enhancements
- Lead/facilitate wholesaling and team meetings
- Ensure organizational compliance requirements are fulfilled; monitor compliance issues against state and federal regulations
- Represent Symetra at national, regional and industry-related meetings and conferences

Compensation
Base Salary: $175,000 annual base salary plus eligibility forincentive compensation
Who you are
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry work experience required
- At least 5 years industry experience including external annuity wholesaling experience
- Experience within the Bank and Wirehouse distribution channels required
- Currently holding FINRA Series 6, 26 and Life Insurance License
- Strong sales, presentation and communication skills
- Ability to teach and deliver sales ideas
