Brand Designer

An emerging defense tech company is looking for a Brand Designer to support the team during an active campaign period. This is a full-time contract role for someone who can jump in quickly, help execute high-quality brand and campaign assets, and provide additional design support while the team is moving through a heavy production window.
This role does not need to be overly senior, but the ideal candidate should have strong design fundamentals, great taste, and the ability to work quickly within an established brand system.
Responsibilities

Support the internal brand team across active campaign work
Design campaign assets across digital, social, web, presentation, and marketing touchpoints
Help maintain consistency across the company's visual identity and campaign materials
Translate creative direction into polished design deliverables
Assist with production needs, resizing, versioning, and asset adaptation as needed
Collaborate with brand, marketing, and cross-functional stakeholders
Work efficiently in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
Ideal Background

Brand Designer, Visual Designer, or Graphic Designer with strong campaign experience
Comfortable working within established brand guidelines and design systems
Strong layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and composition skills
Able to move quickly without sacrificing craft or attention to detail
Experience supporting campaign launches, brand marketing, or integrated marketing initiatives
Comfortable taking direction and iterating based on feedback
Prior experience in tech, hardware, aerospace, AI, defense tech, or complex B2B environments is a plus, but not required

Adobe Creative Suite
Google Slides / presentation design experience is a plus
Contract Details

36 month contract
40 hours/week
Onsite 5 days/week in Orange County, CA
Immediate start preferred
Supporting current and upcoming campaign work
Mid-level candidates are welcome, as long as the portfolio shows strong brand design craft and execution ability
