Strong Girls United (SGU) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls to be strong, confident, and resilient through sport, mentorship, and mental health programming. Our mission is to provide access, build confidence, and create leadership opportunities for girls & women who may not otherwise have them. Through our Strong Girls U programs and events, we partner with colleges and local organizations to connect female student‐athletes with young girls, creating powerful mentorship experiences that foster belonging, resilience, and growth. The VISTA will play a key role in strengthening SGU's digital presence and storytelling capacity. This includes managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and building systems such as content calendars, workflows, and toolkits that support consistent and scalable communication across regions. The VISTA will help elevate the voices of our partners and participants, increasing visibility and expanding our reach to new communities. We are seeking a creative, organized, and mission‐driven individual with strong writing and communication skills, an eye for storytelling, and experience or interest in social media and digital content creation. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple projects, and thinking both strategically and creatively. This is an exciting opportunity to build and shape a growing brand, and directly contribute to expanding opportunities for girls through sport. Candidates will gain hands‐on experience in nonprofit marketing, program storytelling, and national‐level growth while making a meaningful impact. Member Duties The VISTA will be part of the 26‐27 Coach Across America national VISTA cohort of 64 members. The VISTA member will support social media and digital storytelling efforts to grow Strong Girls United's visibility and impact. They will create content across platforms, highlight partner programs and participant stories, and support campaigns that drive engagement and awareness. Additional responsibilities include analyzing performance metrics, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with staff and partners to elevate storytelling across regions.
