Business Development Representative

River Oaks Hospital, a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents, and children, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative for the Baton Rouge/Lafayette market. The role involves coordinating and implementing the facility's strategic sales plan, enhancing the facility's brand/image, managing assigned territory and accounts, and achieving departmental and facility business development goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field required.
Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting preferred.
3 years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships preferred.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated, resilient, and adaptable with a proactive mindset.
Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop engaging marketing content and campaigns.
Previous experience in a psychiatric hospital or related human service field preferred.
Responsibilities include identifying and engaging potential leads through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, social selling, and participation in industry events. The role also involves developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital, social media, and print channels to promote products and services. Conducting market research to identify target audiences, consumer trends, and competitor activities is also a key responsibility.
