About the Role
DisplayMax is looking for a creative, detail-driven Retail 3D Designer to help bring customer visions to life. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, problem-solving, and collaboration.
In this role, you will partner closely with the sales team to design customized millwork packages and retail store layouts that are both functional and visually compelling. You'll play a key role in translating concepts into tangible designs that support our customers' success.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Project Execution
Create customized 3D store layouts and millwork designs tailored to customer needs
Translate customer requirements and sales concepts into clear, buildable design solutions
Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, functionality, and visual appeal in every project
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality
Product & Technical Development
Develop a deep understanding of counter systems, materials, finishes, and production methods
Continuously build knowledge of DisplayMax product offerings and design capabilities
Learn and operate large-format printing equipment, including flatbed and roll-to-roll printers
Communication & Collaboration
Clearly communicate design intent, decisions, and revisions to internal teams and customers
Collaborate with sales, operations, and production teams to ensure designs are executable
Support team success by contributing ideas, feedback, and solutions
Continuous Improvement
Look for opportunities to improve design processes, efficiency, and output quality
Adapt quickly to changing priorities, customer needs, and project requirements

Maintains clear communication and timely follow-up with sales, operations, and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
Basic computer and graphic design skills required
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, SketchUp, or similar preferred
Exposure to layout/design software or printing systems is a plus
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt
