Payrate: $80.00 - $85.00/hr. Summary: We are seeking an experienced professional to update and maintain technical documentation for our platform. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and clarity in all technical content.
Responsibilities

Update existing documentation to reflect new features, enhancements, and changes to the platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering and Product Management, to ensure accuracy and completeness in technical documentation.
Work closely with other members of the writing team to ensure consistency in detail, style, and presentation.
Write high-quality technical content that effectively communicates complex information clearly, concisely, and without jargon.
Qualifications

BA degree in Technical Writing, English, Journalism, a related writing-oriented field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 10 years of experience writing technical content.
Excellent English writing skills.
Experience documenting public cloud products, Oracle, and Kubernetes.
Experience using Oxygen XML Author or a similar product to create documentation in DITA.
Ability to manage documentation using Git and GitHub.
Skills

Experience working with CLI and Linux-like OS is a plus.
Role is open to remote candidates.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $80.00 - $85.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
