LHH is currently recruiting for a Social Media & Public Relations Coordinator for a hybrid opportunity with our client in the Dallas, TX area. This role is ideal for an early‑career communications professional with 1–3 years of experience supporting social media content creation, analytics, media relations, and public relations initiatives within a professional services environment. Legal industry experience is highly preferred. This is a hybrid opportunity based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:

Create, schedule, and publish engaging social media content across platforms, ensuring alignment with brand voice, messaging, and business goals.

Assist with developing social media calendars, campaign timelines, and content plans that support firmwide marketing and communications initiatives.

Monitor social media performance and compile analytics to identify trends, measure engagement, and provide recommendations for improving future content.

Support social listening efforts by monitoring relevant conversations, industry trends, competitor activity, media coverage, and audience engagement.

Assist with public relations activities, including drafting and proofreading press materials, media pitches, announcements, and internal communications.

Prepare media briefing materials, talking points, background research, and supporting documents for interviews, announcements, and PR opportunities.

Track media mentions, social engagement, and campaign results, and help prepare reports for internal stakeholders.

Coordinate with marketing, communications, attorneys, leadership, or external partners to gather content, approvals, and project details.

Maintain organized social media, PR, and media relations materials, including content libraries, media lists, coverage trackers, and reporting documents.

Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, professional services marketing best practices, and relevant legal industry developments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related field required.

1–3 years of experience in social media, public relations, communications, marketing, or a related role required.

Professional services experience required; legal industry experience highly preferred.

Must be able to work a hybrid schedule in Dallas, TX.

Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Ability to create polished social media content that is clear, professional, brand-aligned, and audience-appropriate.

Experience reviewing social media analytics, identifying insights, and making recommendations based on performance data.

Familiarity with social media management, analytics, scheduling, and listening tools preferred.

Comfortable supporting PR activities, including media monitoring, research, briefing preparation, and coordination of media‑related materials.

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.

Professional demeanor and sound judgment when working with confidential, sensitive, or high-visibility communications.
