Account Specialist

Position Overview
As an Account Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting client programs, ensuring accuracy in claim processing, and delivering exceptional customer service. You'll work closely with leadership and cross‑functional teams to maintain high‑quality standards, meet production goals, and continuously improve processes.
What You'll Do
Client & Customer Support: Monitor and respond to customer service calls and emails within 24 hours. Research and resolve client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and urgency.
Claims Processing & Quality Assurance: Ensure claims are processed in compliance with company and client guidelines. Review claims for accuracy and provide constructive feedback to team members. Generate daily claim status reports and communicate updates to leadership.
Operational Support & Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery. Assist in developing and coordinating ongoing training for team members. Support report generation, data accuracy, and client reporting needs. Contribute to programming change requests and process enhancements.
Team Collaboration & Leadership Support: Partner with Supervisors to ensure production and service goals are achieved. Step in as a team lead when needed. Support a positive, high‑performing work environment.
What You Bring
Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
Ability to interpret and follow detailed instructions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe programs
Basic understanding of accounting principles
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 2 years of customer service or administrative experience
Experience in cooperative advertising or incentive programs is a plus
Prior experience leading, mentoring, or supporting a team preferred
Experience in a customer service or production environment highly valued
