Fuel Safe is looking for a hands-on manufacturing candidate to support the production of fuel bladders and fuel containment systems across multiple product lines. This position focuses on the setup, fabrication, and assembly of components using a variety of tools, equipment, and materials, while ensuring each product meets established specifications and quality standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to interpret drawings and work instructions, and the desire to learn and improve upon current manufacturing practices.
Prior knowledge of fuel and fluid systems is not a prerequisite, and training will occur over the first several months. This training will include time spent in each production department to gain hands-on experience with current processes, an introduction to company standards, and instruction on blueprint interpretation and fabrication methods.
The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrate good communication skills, maintain an organized work area, and consistently follow established fabrication and assembly procedures. A willingness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a production environment is essential.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Setup, build, and test molds and bladders to produce a product to meet specifications;

Read and interpret blueprints/drawings and select the correct shop equipment and tools to complete the job;

Identify problems during the fabrication process and consult appropriate parties for solutions;

Work as a collaborative team with other departments to ensure product is completed within specifications and deadlines;

Operate a variety of hand tools and/or machinery, including but not limited to heat guns, drills, glue gun, heat sealing machine, vacuum forming machine, etc.;

Assemble fuel cell assemblies, sub-assemblies and/or configurations using work instructions, blueprints and/or parts list(s);

Appropriately position materials, parts, and assemblies by reading templates and blueprint measurements;

Fabricate and assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies;

Verify drawing specifications by measuring components throughout fabrication;

Maintain a clean work area;

Other duties as assigned.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience:

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions

Hands-on experience with basic hand tools and/or shop equipment

Ability to learn and follow fabrication processes and procedures

Ability to lift, move, or position materials as required

Strong attention to detail and willingness to follow established standards

Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly environment

Familiarity with heat-forming, bonding, or similar fabrication methods

Experience using measurement tools (tape measure, calipers, templates)

Understanding of production workflows or materials handling
