Art Center Director to manage all aspects of the Art Center toensure successful operation of the programs including the analysisof course offerings, the creation of class schedules, thecoordination of classes and instructors, enrollment management, andthe maintenance of labs and materials.

Art Center Director to manage all aspects of the Art Center toensure successful operation of the programs including the analysisof course offerings, the creation of class schedules, thecoordination of classes and instructors, enrollment management, andthe maintenance of labs and materials.

Responsibilities

Find, hire, train, and supervise instructors for 1,600 coursecredit hours per year with over 1,100 students taking coursesthrough the Art Center at Miami University.

Maintain the Art Center enrollment management andmarketing.

Maintain and organize class schedules and implement newprogramming based on needs of the Art Center.

Create and manage two separate budgets between Art Center labsupplies and daily operations.

Maintain facilities and equipment for the ceramics, glass,metals, photography, drawing, sewing and 3D printing labs in theArt Center.

Hire and train lab monitors for 42 open lab hours perweek.

Facilitate and maintain positive relations and a positivelearning experience for the students and instructors of the ArtCenter and CraftSummer.

Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor degree in a relevant field with 3 years of testedexperience.

Consideration may be given to candidates with k nowledge inbusiness/entrepreneurial skills (marketing, management, and/or artsbusiness knowledge); excellent communication and collaborationskills; budget management skills; self-starter; ability to analyzeenrollment and membership trends; knowledge to maintain equipmentand condition of facilities.
