Job Summary
PIP is searching for a Director of Product Management to join our growing team and lead our Respiratory business!

The Respiratory Director of Product Management owns the product portfolio end‑to‑end and is accountable for delivering on revenue growth and profitability objectives – all with consideration for the customer at the forefront. The successful candidate will work closely with manufacturing, sourcing, engineering, R&D, senior executives, sales, key business partners and the senior management team to maximize growth, development and ROI of the organization’s product portfolio. You are customer obsessed and use the voice of the customer to guide decisions within the portfolio.

In this role you will be responsible for defining, developing and deploying a comprehensive, global portfolio of products, services and integrated solutions. This will also include driving portfolio decisions to expand into adjacent markets, adapting business models to capture value and integrating hardware and services to deliver winning solutions for our customers. This position reports directly to our VP of Product & Marketing and can be based in Charlotte, NC or Albany, NY.

Key Responsibilities

Team leadership and development

Define and deliver global portfolio strategy, planning and optimization

Manage P&L

Develop and bring to market new product introductions (NPIs) and complete blue‑sky innovation

Create product and solution roadmaps

Lead portfolio optimization and lifecycle‑management efforts

Identify and drive commercial launch and ongoing demand/profit optimization initiatives to accelerate growth

Value‑based pricing strategy and realization

Conduct voice of the customer research

Project planning and execution

Set and optimize pricing to deliver on growth and profitability objectives

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

Undergraduate degree in Business or engineering

MBA from a top‑tier university or equivalent business‑management experience

Strong leadership capabilities

Diverse product‑management experience with technical offerings, ideally including services and software‑based solutions

Experience creating strategic visions and executing on them

Solid understanding of recurring revenue business/commercial models

Commercial sales and marketing experience

The ability to manage people in a high‑output environment

Drive to exceed and win

Excellent organizational skills
