Director of Sales – MBK Senior Living
Overview
Play a key role in driving sales for our senior living communities, managing inquiries, tours, professional referrals, and collaborating with leadership to achieve occupancy targets and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead community sales efforts, maintaining budget occupancy by driving qualified inquiries and tours (approx. 85% of time).
Respond to new inquiries from multiple channels, enter activities and notes into the CRM in real time.
Utilize MBK follow‑up plans to achieve desired communication levels with new inquiries.
Maintain comprehensive, up‑to‑date CRM database.
Serve as primary point of contact for prospects, families, and referral agencies until move‑in.
Assist in training team on first impressions, inquiry calls, and tours.
Conduct daily community walkthroughs to ensure show‑ready standards.
Build and maintain relationships with industry influencers and professional referral sources.
Plan and conduct outreach events, local market events, and internal showcase events.
Develop annual operating budget, pricing strategy, and revenue generation plans.
Coordinate and sponsor community networking functions.
Supervise and evaluate Sales Assistant (0–1 employee).
Attend daily stand‑up, weekly meetings, and present sales initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
College degree or equivalent experience.
Sales and marketing experience with a proven track record.
Background clearances required; health screening and TB test.
Valid state driver’s license and insurance.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to small groups.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s coursework in communications, public relations, marketing or related field.
Experience working weekends, evenings and flexible hours.
