Due to the expansion of the Technical Animation department, we are looking to add a colleague to our team with solid experience working with animation systems in Unreal Engine 5.
Required hard skills:
Strong practical experience with technical animation
The ability to setup and animate mechanical meshes and characters
Work with blendshapes and facial animation
Firm understanding of animation principles, techniques and pipelines
Experience with Unreal Engine 4 & 5
Highly proficient in Maya, Blender, 3ds Max
Good knowledge of 3D-related math
Strong understanding of 3d rigging
Functionality and main scope of work:
Setting up and maintaining
Animation Blueprints
Working with
State Machines ,
Blend Spaces ,
Montages
Implementing complex character movement logic (locomotion, combat, IK)
Creating and maintaining
Control Rig
setups in UE5
Procedural animation (IK, FK, LookAt, Aim, Foot Placement)
Optimizing rigs for real-time performance
Animation performance optimization
Will be an advantage:
Advanced experience with Lyra, ALS, GASP animation system and others
Advanced experience with procedural animation
Experience with the Metahuman pipeline
