Photograph athletic events and get the point to where you can submit an initial batch of quality photos during the event

Photograph additional Ritchie Center events

Share photos with the full-time communications staff member associated with the event

Label and log photos in the department’s database

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Previous photography experience

Organized, timely and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

Must qualify for Federal Work Study

Current DU undergraduate or graduate student enrolled for the 2026-27 academic year, located in the Denver area

Must be willing to complete tasks during athletics events on campus, mostly on nights and weekends

Job Conditions

Standard office environment during office hours.

Varsity athletic contest music, fans and up-beat atmosphere during game days.

Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate.

Noise levels range from quiet to loud based on office or event.

Physical Activities

Ability to sit in front of a computer for an extended period.

Occasionally required to move about the office or athletic venue with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.

Hours
This position is flexible with the student’s hours each academic quarter. Some evening/weekend hours required. Work in the office during the week may be required.
