Overview

We’re seeking a dynamic Product Manager, Hip Downstream Marketing to drive strategic initiatives that will shape the future of our hip surgical approach portfolio. In this high-impact role, you’ll blend clinical insight with marketing expertise to develop go-to-market strategies, manage cross‑functional projects, and bring differentiated value to surgeons and patients alike.
Responsibilities

Understand key competitors and their relative strengths/weaknesses.
Identify and analyze customer groups and motivations for purchasing the product or portfolio.
Assess marketing channel strategies and associated business implications.
Track and report results/KPIs to leadership and sales.
Maintain networks for obtaining competitive information.
Explain product features to customers according to their needs.
Maintain customer engagement and deeply understand customer needs.
Play a role in developing key strategy documents: strategic plan, annual marketing plan, and product launch plans.
Support the creation of Project Charters, CERs, and Business Case Financial Models.
Analyze competitive dynamics in the market.
Determine what customers value and how they perceive product attributes.
Articulate product value and problem‑solving benefits to customers.
Create marketing strategies that enhance the relationship between customer and product or portfolio.
Propose objectives for generating clinical evidence and evaluate studies.
Tie the business goal of the product or portfolio to the overall goal of the company.
Synthesize market trends and recommend strategic focus areas.
Develop new strategies, sales tools, and communication plans.
Apply clinical knowledge combined with technical knowledge to educate and articulate value.
Work closely with sales training/enablement to set product training strategy.
Own the obsolescence plan.
Provide analytical support for price setting.
Articulate desired communication outcomes for the marketing strategy to MarComm team.
Establish short‑range and long‑range improvement goals for the product management team and develop action plans.
Analyze customer satisfaction to assess engagement trends and incorporate insights into strategic planning.
Provide the marketing intelligence group with key objectives and inputs to drive customer insights.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
4+ years of work experience required.
MBA preferred.
2+ years of medical device or marketing experience preferred.
Excellent presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting established timelines.
Ability to persuade in the absence of organizational authority.
Understanding and ability to work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Compensation & Location

Salary Range: $107,200 – $178,600 USD annually. Travel requirement: 70% travel.
