Our business is BBQ, and businesstastes good. Traeger invented the wood pellet grill over 30 years ago, and we’re fanatics who are dedicated to bringing people together to create a more flavorful world. From our headquarters in Salt Lake City, we work tirelessly to provide a world‑class experience to our customers, retailers, and especially our employees. If you’re a team player who’s dedicated to delivering top‑quality results every day, then we want you to come cook with us.
What You’ll Do:
Traeger is seeking a Retail Marketing Coordinator to join our team. As our Retail Marketing Coordinator, you will play a pivotal part in creating brand awareness at point of sale and ultimately driving conversion. You will execute displays, marketing tactics and elevated experiences which enhance the consumer’s in‑store shopping experience with Traeger in the US and Canada. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams, production partners and retailer team members to execute promotional marketing and in‑store experiences.
How You’ll Help Us Win
Work cross‑functionally within Traeger and with external vendors to create, coordinate and produce POP & fixture programs and planograms focused on increasing brand awareness and sell‑through in retail environments.
Understand unique channel merchandising requirements, as well as what kind of pre‑approved displays/fixtures each utilizes.
Manage calendars based on account schedules for floor re‑sets and ensure we align on promotional and seasonal initiatives.
Work with approved partners to ensure all displays are refreshed as needed seasonally, for product launches, and when replacement parts are needed.
Maintain a strong communication flow between all parties involved in executions -- from cross‑functional Traeger teams to agency partners to retailer account contacts.
Submit creative briefs for in‑store/marketing assets.
Research and report on the retail landscape, consumer buying behavior in retail channels, competitor insights and inspiration from other brands both within and outside of the grilling industry.
Master RPM software tools like PlanogramBuilder and SketchUp.
What You’ll Need to Bring
Ability to manage a variety of projects simultaneously in an organized fashion -- keeping everyone involved aligned to meet delivery timelines and budgets.
1‑3 years’ experience executing marketing and/or visual merchandising projects for a retailer, consumer brand, or at a marketing/instore experiential agency.
A knack for organizing and simplifying a variety of information and deliverables; analyzing situations; and proactively providing solutions.
Editing skills and attention to detail to ensure all deliverables are accurate and meet both Traeger brand guidelines and retailer process requirements.
Ability to build cohesive relationships both internally and externally and comfortable discussing projects with a variety of stakeholders.
Ideally, experience with RPM software tools like PlanogramBuilder and SketchUp.
Foundational knowledge of print, digital and fixture/POP production would be helpful.
