Departmental Objective
To help position CNU as a preeminent public liberal arts and sciences university through marketing, communications, and disseminating information by serving as the University's in-house agency.
Purpose of the Position
This position will work as a member of the digital content team to maintain official university web properties and create content for social media and the digital marketing needs of the University.
Maintain university webpages and event calendars using content management systems
Manipulate photos for use on the web and other digital platforms
Collaborate with team members, faculty, and staff to design and build digital content
Keep up to date on the latest web and digital technology
Perform other duties as assigned

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of digital marketing and communication concepts

Proficiency in website maintenance (working knowledge of content management systems, photo editing software)
Working knowledge of web technology, accessibility, usability, and information architecture

Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification Required
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma
Experience: Experience working in any of the following areas: website maintenance, social media, digital communications and marketing, including new and emerging trends.
Additional Consideration(s)
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business, communications, or related field
Experience: Experience in web content management
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
Experience working in a university/college setting
Experience working with content management systems (including but not limited to: Cascade Server and Slate CRM)
Experience creating content for social media (including, but not limited to video production, designing graphic elements, and writing copy for a variety of social platforms)
Salary Information
Starting at $43,417, Commensurate with Education and Experience
