Provide programmatic and logistical support for new student and family programs within the Department of Welcome Programs.**Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:*** Assist with creating, coordinating, and implementing logistics for events and activities* Assist with creating, coordinating, and implementing curricula and programs* Provide operational, task-oriented support for all programs, events, and activities* Network and collaborate with other GCU departments, partners, and students* Maintain and expand knowledge of relevant systems, platforms, and resources to aid in managing organizational details* Support daily office functions and administrative tasks, including answering phone calls and emails* Other duties as assigned**Equipment Used and Responsibility:*** MS Office* ClickUp Project Management System**Qualifications:*** Experience and interest in event planning and/or curriculum development* Excellent written and oral communication, as well as interpersonal skills* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail* Desire to learn new skills and ability to take and receive direction from staff* Ability to balance multiple tasks at one time and take initiative of responsibilities* Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook**Experience/Education:**Grand Canyon University is committed to a student
