About the Role
The Senior Advertising Manager’s primary responsibility is to work client-facing, with a specific book of commerce clients to create, manage, optimize, report on, and present full funnel marketing campaigns. In this role, you will work directly with a variety of large Brands across multiple global Amazon markets and different product categories. You will also play a major role in crafting budget strategies, driving sales and enhancing brand awareness on Amazon, Walmart and other commerce platforms.
Responsibilities
Own Amazon search and display (DSP/OTT) performance advertising for an assigned set of clients
Create, implement, manage, and report on advertising strategies that align with client goals
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximize performance for the client’s business
Proactively research industry trends and best practices and communicate internally to share knowledge
Engage frequently and professionally with clients via email/slack, phone, and in‑person video meetings
Strategic thinking, detail oriented execution, and insightful data analysis to identify areas of opportunity and deliver sales‑driving initiatives
Utilize Amazon Attribution and Amazon Marketing Cloud to gain additional insights to increase performance
Mentor more junior Advertising Managers
About You
The essentials:
Amazon Performance Advertising experience with knowledge of developing strategic full‑funnel strategies to grow brands
4+ years’ experience with Amazon digital advertising; with an emphasis on paid search and display advertising
Strong large‑client facing experience
Amazon advertising accreditation at the date of hire or commitment for accreditation within 30 days of hire
Experience with Amazon SaaS Advertising Technologies
Advanced understanding of PowerPoint, Excel, and Word or Google Slides, Docs and Sheets
Excellent attention to detail and accomplished verbal and written communication skills
Analytical and strategic capabilities
Multitasking expertise with the ability to organize projects and establish priorities
Not a must, but a plus:
Agency experience with a focus on Amazon programmatic display advertising, Amazon Demand Side Platform and Amazon search
Adept at learning new software programs and tools and incorporating AI into workflows
Experience using bid management tools
Additional marketplace experience such as Walmart, Target, Instacart

Monks offers a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job‑related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range: $100,000—$122,000 USD
