Art Handling Specialist
Crozier Fine Arts is seeking an experienced, self-motivated Art Handling Specialist to join our Operations/Logistics team. In this role, you’ll ensure the safety and integrity of art collections through expert handling, packing, crating, and transportation, while acting as an onsite liaison between clients and company management.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Handle, move, wrap, pack, and crate a diverse range of objects, including fine art, decorative arts, and furniture, using Crozier’s appropriate techniques and materials, ensuring damage‑free preservation and transit preparation.

Collaborate with clients, driving teams, and company management as onsite liaison, determining project strategy, and ensuring clear communication and follow‑through.

Ensure compliance with the highest industry standards by planning, organizing, and loading trucks for utmost safety during transit, conducting inspection reports, and maintaining discretion on all projects.

Install/uninstall art for onsite projects and load/unload trucks to ensure safe transit.

Spend approximately 5% of time on a laptop/desktop computer or telephone to manage project logistics.

What You’ll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)

Minimum 6 months of experience in Art Handling within a gallery, museum, or commercial fine art space.

Strong knowledge of industry standard techniques and materials for packing, crating, installing, and uninstalling artwork.

Proven ability in effective communication, self‑motivation, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to regional locations for onsite work.

Physical capability to lift, move, push, and pull heavy objects (exceeding 75 lbs), bend, kneel, crouch, stand, and work flexible hours as needed.

What We Offer (Benefits)

Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr (negotiations depend on experience). Paid bi‑weekly via direct deposit.

Shift: Monday through Friday.

Note: Employees’ starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where state, municipal, provincial, territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
