Job Summary
Professional Sales Representative – La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries in Aurora, CO.

Competitive earnings include hourly base wage plus uncapped commissions on sales. Training Pay: $16/hr for 2-6 weeks (no commission).

Required to create sales utilizing customer service and knowledge of the La‑Z‑Boy selling process, products, and services. Build long‑term customer relationships to increase sales and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Guide high‑end clients through a premium sales experience.

Create inspired spaces with world‑class furniture and décor.

Curate luxury looks while earning commissions with no ceiling.

Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories and services.

Promote the Design program and assist the Designer to achieve sales goals.

Consistently execute the La‑Z‑Boy selling process, provide favorable customer experience.

Develop and utilize sales skills including approach, rapport building, needs discovery, presentation, objections, closing, and follow‑up.

Maximize store promotions, marketing initiatives, and grassroots programs.

Maintain knowledge of product features and benefits.

Schedule professional home consultations, present room designs, recommend fabrics and accessories, support installation service.

Provide high‑level customer service, use Podium, respond to calls and emails, handle complaints.

Assist in training and coaching peers in product knowledge and selling process.

Maintain store visual appearance, displays, catalogs, and cleanliness.

Accurately complete orders, deposits, records, On‑Point logs, schedule deliveries.

Manage opening and closing of the store.

Minimum Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous selling experience and ability to close sales.

Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Time management, ability to handle competing priorities.

Teamwork and collaboration skills.

Availability for required schedule, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Initiative and motivation to meet goals.

Attention to detail.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, repetitive motions, occasional sitting, walking, bending, and stooping.

Ability to pass background and drug screen.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.

Compensation
Training Pay: $16.00 per hour for 2-6 weeks (no commission).

After Training: Base pay $13.50/hr + uncapped commission on written sales. Commission ranges from 1% to 6% based on monthly sales achievement versus goal; rate increases with performance.

Average Annual Earning Potential After Training: $45,000 – $65,000+ (inclusive of base and commission).
