About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, results‑driven Partnership Manager to accelerate revenue growth and expand our partnership ecosystem. This role focuses on cultivating and managing existing partnerships while identifying and securing new alliances that drive business opportunities in the government sector.
Developing and Expanding Partnerships:
Nurture existing partner relationships and proactively identify new strategic partnerships to increase revenue and market reach.
Driving Revenue Growth:
Seek out new business opportunities inside and outside the current customer base, leveraging partnerships to generate competitive sales opportunities.
Negotiating & Structuring Agreements:
Lead negotiations on partnership and reselling contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms that align with company goals.
Collaborating & Coordinating:
Work closely with Business Development, Strategy, Partner Marketing and Product teams to develop joint strategies, establish partner sales enablement, and ensure alignment on goals.
Market & Competitor Analysis:
Stay informed on industry trends, government requirements, and marketplace competitors to effectively position our solutions and differentiate our offerings.
Partner Enablement & Training:
Educate partners on our TRSS value proposition, provide product training, and support them in achieving sales targets. Coordinate and support partners for our TRSS sales engagement, partnership launches, and full ecosystem.
Pipeline & Performance Management:
Lead regular pipeline reviews, track partnership performance, and prepare reports for senior management.
Proposal & Presentation Development:
Create compelling presentations, proposals, and responses for RFIs/RFPs, tailored to partner and customer needs.
Customer & Partner Satisfaction:
Ensure high levels of satisfaction through effective communication, support, and value delivery.
Compliance & Contracting:
Understand government contracting mechanisms and assist in contract negotiations and compliance requirements.
About You
Minimum 4 years of experience in Business Development, Partner Management, or Alliance Development, preferably within the government contracting space.
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or certifications in Business, Management, or related fields are a plus.
Proven success in negotiating and closing partnership agreements.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging at multiple organizational levels.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
Positive, energetic, and hungry to learn and grow within the partnership space.
Self‑starter with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities and driving results.
Knowledge of government procurement processes, contracting mechanisms, and relevant tools (FedBizOps, Deltek, INPUT).
Ability to travel as needed for meetings, training, and partner engagement.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. National Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship essential to comply with government contract/agency or department of Federal Government requirements.

Compensation
Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $104,900 USD – $194,700 USD. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
