Job Summary and Mission
Coffee & Beverage (C&B) division is on a mission to elevate how our consumers experience coffee. With brands like Starbucks, Coffee Mate, Nescafé, Natural Bliss, Seattle’s Best Coffee, Nesquik and others, our diverse product portfolio offers rich opportunities for individuals passionate about sharing their love of coffee and creamers. Summary of Key Responsibilities
Drive shopper strategy for key brands within the C&B portfolio in strong collaboration with Brand, Commercial Development, and Sales Planning teams, to elevate shopper solutions and capabilities and leverage insights to drive sales and share.
Spearhead development and share out of brand insights and plans, program measurement, evaluation, and analysis. Evaluate omni‑commerce tactics and cutting‑edge program activation elements to support product activation within the retailer environment.
Guide management of brand‑specific creative development with the shopper marketing agency, evaluating strategy and creative, and communicating across key stakeholders. Provide oversight of headquarter‑based shopper marketing budget for both working and non‑working dollars.
Manage ongoing development, asset management, and content updates for online ad building tool to support field sales team. Coordinate phased updates with agency and vendor to build capability for the organization.
Build and maintain multi‑discipline relationships within the organization, including developing and delivering presentations to gain buy‑in and to drive results. Examples include, but are not limited to, annual planning and investment requests.
Provide thought leadership by partnering with internal e‑commerce stakeholders to track activity and synthesize learnings to maximize investment, share of search, and keyword strategy.
Own Shopper Marketing Budget management, tracking, and team adjustments in collaboration with the Finance co‑pilot.
Qualifications
Summary of Experience
Minimum of 7 years of CPG shopper marketing and/or brand marketing experience.
4+ years of traditional CPG shopper marketing role preferred.
Intermediate to advanced analytics, digital and omni‑commerce knowledge.
General manager mindset, thought leader, and skilled collaborator with strong communication and clear storytelling.
Experience in sales & marketing, leading marketing and/or shopper communication.
Strong attention to detail and follow‑through.
Thrives in change and comfortable with ambiguity.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong collaborative nature: ability to work in a cross‑functional team environment.
Curiosity and initiative to develop and seek out creative and innovative ideas.
Strong project management skills.
Financial acumen related to managing a budget, ROI analysis, and budget optimization.
Influential and effective communicator proficient in storytelling and negotiating.
Ability to leverage data and trends to generate insights and solutions that drive shopper behaviors.
Understanding of the omni‑channel environment with proficiency in paid search investment.
Understanding of U.S. retailers and their go‑to‑market strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
The approximate pay range for this position is $133,000 to $165,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
