NewGen Administrative Services partners with skilled nursing facilities to deliver compassionate, person-centered care. We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Accounts Payable to lead a team of 10–15, drive timely and accurate payments, and bring order and efficiency to a critical function that supports our communities.
What you’ll do:
- Lead, train, and manage a team of 10–15 AP staff, balancing workloads and developing talent
- Own the full AP cycle: ensure timely vendor payments, expense report processing, and accurate record-keeping
- Maintain a comprehensive disbursement calendar, review AP registers, and drive monthly reconciliations
- Oversee 1099 filings, credit card payment processing, and petty cash management
- Spearhead AP process improvements and lead the department through an ERP conversion
- Partner with the Controller on reporting, analysis, and smooth onboarding of newly acquired entities
- Must have: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field
- Must have: Minimum 5 years of experience in AP management, including leading teams
- Must have: Strong command of full-cycle accounts payable and proven ability to meet tight deadlines
- Must have: High level of confidentiality, organizational skill, and a continuous improvement mindset
- Nice to have: Finance experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment
