Production Associate

The Production Associate reports to the Team Leader. Responsible for the efficient operation of production processes in accordance with established manufacturing and operation standards.
Essential Functions:
Read and understand Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain a safe work environment
5S - Maintain a clean and organized work area
Efficient operation of production processes in accordance with established manufacturing and operation standards
Maintain production reporting requirements
Maintain quality on all products
Set-up, operation, and preventative maintenance of equipment as required
All other duties as requested by a person of authority

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger dexterity. The Associate frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; and communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors in a moderately noisy environment. The Associate is occasionally required to sit, climb and balance. The Associate must lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Must be able to bend, twist, push, pull, and reach and operate a powered industrial truck.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Minimum Educational and Experience Requirements:
High School Degree or GED
One or more years of working in a manufacturing environment
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
