Job Description

The Production Technician is responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing tasks, including mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging products. This role requires experience with labeling, weighing, and assembly processes, including capping bottles. The technician will mix powder solutions into liquid solutions for packaging, set up and operate mixing and weighing equipment, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient production.
Responsibilities
Perform product manufacturing tasks such as mixing, blending, filling, labeling, and packaging
Complete labeling, weighing, and assembly processes, including placing caps on bottles
Mix powder solutions into liquid solutions for packaging and production
Set up and operate mixing and weighing equipment
Operate, clean, and maintain production equipment, including mixers
Follow SOPs to ensure safe, accurate, and compliant production processes
Set up and tear down production stations as needed
Complete production documentation accurately and maintain production records
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Support basic in-process testing and quality checks
Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods throughout the shift
Essential Skills
Experience working with aseptic techniques, cleanroom environments, or biologics manufacturing
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Experience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
Ability to follow detailed work instructions and procedures
Basic computer skills; experience with electronic documentation is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
