Position Overview The Senior Product Marketing Manager (SPMM) – Pre and Post-Acute Markets at HealthStream is a first‑of‑its‑kind role dedicated exclusively to the skilled nursing, behavioral health, ambulatory, community health, and extended care settings that make up HealthStream’s growing post‑acute portfolio. The SPMM will be the go‑to market expert and sole dedicated marketer for these care settings, owning strategy, messaging, and execution across a diverse and complex landscape of buyers, personas, and regulatory environments.
Key Responsibilities Strategic leadership: develop and execute robust go‑to‑market strategies and integrated marketing campaigns for growing application suites tailored to post‑acute and community care settings.
Cross‑functional collaboration: serve as connective tissue across product, sales, customer success, implementations, and solution product marketers.
Market research and insights: develop and maintain deep expertise across each post‑acute and community care setting; conduct competitive analysis, win/loss reviews, and buyer research.
Messaging and positioning: build and maintain distinct messaging and positioning frameworks for each care setting.
Sales enablement: equip post‑acute sales teams with targeted tools and collateral tailored to each care setting.
Budget management: manage the post‑acute marketing budget with a strong ROI mindset, prioritizing spend and reporting performance.
Performance metrics and analysis: own and achieve KPIs across the post‑acute portfolio, including MQLs, SQLs, pipeline growth, marketing‑generated net opportunity value, and engagement metrics.
Campaign execution: collaborate with performance marketing to design and implement campaigns across email, SEM/SEO, social media, digital advertising, ABM, content marketing, and webinars.
Influence stakeholders: advocate for markets, influence roadmap prioritization, and gain alignment from product, sales, and executive leadership.
Innovation and continuous improvement: leverage AI tools (Claude, Jasper, etc.) to increase output and accelerate content development.
Leadership and development: build the function from the ground up, establishing best practices, playbooks, and processes for scaling.
Qualifications Requirements 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably at a SaaS‑based healthcare technology company.
Led GTM strategy and marketing execution for product or solution launches with demonstrable pipeline growth.
Proficiency in leveraging the MarTech stack and AI tools to scale marketing performance.
Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Degree in marketing, communications, or related field (preferred).
Demonstrated knowledge of post‑acute and community care settings, including regulatory frameworks, staffing models, funding sources, and technology buying behaviors.
Familiarity with key industry associations and trade publications (e.g., AHCA/NCAL, LeadingAge, NACHC, McKnight’s, HHCN) is a strong plus.
Additional Qualifications Exceptional communication and presentation skills, translating complex product capabilities into clear, setting‑specific narratives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Highly collaborative, able to build relationships and drive alignment across cross‑functional teams.
Strategic thinker with execution focus, able to operate independently as the sole dedicated marketer.
Excellent organizational skills, managing multiple projects and programs simultaneously.
Energetic, mature self‑starter comfortable being the first and only person in a role.
Adept at building and managing relationships internally and externally within the post‑acute space.
Collaborative team player, actively seeking perspectives from sales, product, and clinical colleagues.
Compensation The salary range for this position is $89,637 – $105,000. Salary will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications.
