New York, NY – Hybrid (Up to 2 days per week in-office)
Compensation:
$60,000 – $65,000 + Uncapped Commission
Our client is a fast-growing events and media business looking to hire a Delegate Account Executive to support attendance across a portfolio of high-quality, invitation-only conferences. This is a consultative, client-facing sales role focused on engaging senior-level executives, building relationships, and driving participation across a range of industry events. You’ll take ownership of the full delegate acquisition lifecycle while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure strong event delivery.
Responsibilities
Own the full delegate acquisition lifecycle from outreach through confirmation and event attendance
Build and execute outbound campaigns across phone, email, and LinkedIn
Develop and manage a high-quality pipeline aligned to event audience strategy
Engage senior-level executives to understand priorities and position event value
Track and optimize pipeline activity, conversion rates, and performance metrics
Partner with internal teams to align on event content and target audiences
Act as the primary point of contact for delegates throughout the pre-event journey
Travel to events (~5–6 per year) to support on-site engagement and relationship building
The business operates across multiple sectors and delivers curated, high-impact experiences for senior decision-makers, offering strong exposure to C-suite and director-level stakeholders.
Qualifications
1–3+ years in B2B sales, events, or a client-facing role
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Comfortable working in a target-driven, outbound sales environment
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously
Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership
Experience using CRM systems and outbound sales tools preferred
Background in events or delegate acquisition is a plus
