Strategic Partnerships Development Lead, Media and Entertainment, Google Play
Location: New York, NY; Mountain View, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of media and entertainment partners to drive growth across the Android ecosystem, including Google Play.

Lead cross‑functional teams to develop and execute partnership agreements, renewals, and commercial initiatives.

Build relationships with partner executives and develop strategic growth plans.

Initiate new agreements, negotiate commercial terms, and secure expansions and renewals.

Act as a growth consultant, providing partners with regional insights, best practices, and support for business optimization on the platform.

Accelerate adoption of key Google product features and grow partner engagement and monetization across platforms and devices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

Seven years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, or five years with an advanced degree.

Experience in the media and entertainment industry or in a partner‑facing role with media and entertainment partners.

Experience partnering with executives and leading cross‑functional teams.

Experience managing and executing partnership agreements, renewals, or commercial partnerships.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or Master's degree in a related field.

Experience working directly at major media companies such as streaming platforms, broadcasters, or content publishers, or in a platform partnership role at a technology company.

Experience in growth consulting, partner optimization, or leveraging data analysis to identify and drive business growth opportunities.

Experience executing complex, cross‑functional partnership initiatives with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Experience negotiating agreements, commercial terms, or partnership renewals within the media space.

Benefits & Compensation

US salary range: 140,000 – 204,000 USD per year.

15% bonus target.

Equity granted by Alphabet Inc. on the basis of an agreement and subject to board approval.

Standard benefits package as provided by Google.
