Social Media Manager - Remote

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Social Media Manager to provide expert consultation for a wine distribution company focused on enhancing its digital presence. The primary objective is to develop and refine a comprehensive social media strategy that drives brand awareness, engagement, and long-term growth. The position is fully remote and ideal for a creative professional with a strong background in both video content and marketing, who can deliver actionable insights and recommendations tailored to the wine industry.

Responsibilities

Analyze current social media channels and content performance to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement

Develop a tailored social media strategy aligned with the brand’s goals and target audience within the wine sector

Advise on content creation, including video and animation, to maximize engagement and reach

Recommend best practices for platform selection, posting schedules, and audience interaction

Provide guidance on paid advertising, influencer partnerships, and community management

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting frameworks to measure success and inform ongoing strategy

Offer ongoing support and consultation to ensure the implementation of recommendations and continuous optimization

Skills and Requirements

Proven experience in social media management and consultation, preferably within the food and beverage or consumer goods industries

Strong creative skills in video production, animation, and visual storytelling for digital platforms

Deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and analytics tools

Expertise in developing and executing multi-platform strategies (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)

Ability to translate business objectives into actionable digital marketing plans

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear, strategic recommendations

Experience working remotely and managing projects independently

Senior-level expertise with a track record of successful social media campaigns
