Description
Kharon is seeking a full‑time Senior Software Engineer based in Denver. This role requires in‑office attendance at least three days a week.
Responsibilities
- Marketing & Content Infrastructure: Spearhead the development of high‑traffic marketing sites, ensuring they are visually appealing and technically optimized for rapid content publishing.
- SEO & Web Performance: Implement advanced SEO strategies (SSR/SSG, JSON‑LD schema, automated sitemaps, llms.txt) and own Core Web Vitals to maintain fast load times.
- Login Walls & Gated Content: Maintain sophisticated walls between free and premium content, integrating with Auth providers and subscription tools for frictionless transitions.
- Marketing Technology Stack: Manage integrations with HubSpot, Google Tag Manager, and other growth technologies.
- Visual Excellence: Collaborate with Design and Brand teams to build and maintain a scalable design system ensuring brand consistency across marketing pages, login portals, and product interfaces.
- Full Stack Capability: While frontend‑heavy, work with Python/Java backend services to develop APIs that feed content or handle authentication logic.
Qualifications
- 6+ years in software engineering with a proven track record of building high‑performance marketing sites or content‑heavy SaaS platforms.
- Deep expertise in React and Next.js, and a clear understanding of SSG vs. SSR for SEO.
- Technical SEO mastery from crawl budgets to rich‑snippet data structuring.
- Experience implementing OAuth/OIDC flows and managing sessions behind login walls.
- Proficiency with headless CMS platforms (Contentful, Sanity) and marketing automation integrations (HubSpot, Segment).
- Pixel‑perfect design sensibility, comfortable in Figma and translating data visualizations into responsive components.
- Strong communicator who collaborates across teams and explains technical trade‑offs to stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks (Optimizely, VWO).
- Background in Fintech, RegTech, or data‑driven SaaS.
- Experience with GraphQL for fetching content from multiple sources.
- Some experience with LLM‑based coding tools like Cursor or Claude.
