About the Role
Maven is seeking a social‑media‑native intern (10–15 hours per week) to support content creation and day‑to‑day social media execution for Maven Consumer. In this role, you’ll work directly with the Senior Manager of Social Media on projects that have tangible, real‑world impact. This is a 3‑month internship running from August through November.

Responsibilities

Support content calendar planning and scheduling across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Create short‑form video, graphics, and captions that are on‑brand and platform‑native, using AI creative tools (CapCut, Canva, Claude) to move faster and iterate more

Use AI tools to assist with trend research and social listening, surfacing what’s working in health, wellness, and adjacent categories

Monitor trends, viral moments, and platform updates and bring a POV on where Maven should show up

Conduct competitive research on how peer brands show up across social channels

Help organize and maintain creative assets and content libraries

Qualifications

Genuine fluency in Instagram and TikTok with an understanding of what performs and why

Hands‑on comfort with AI creative tools (ChatGPT for copy, Canva for visuals, CapCut for video)

Strong writing skills and a good eye for visual content

Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once

Familiarity with Sprout Social, Figma, or similar tools is a plus

Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field

The compensation rate for this role is expected to be $20/hour.
