We’re looking for a Brand Director with signage and wayfinding expertise to join our Austin Lifestyle Studio—where we shape experiences across Texas and beyond. Our work spans college football stadiums, MLS venues, hospitality destinations, landmark lifestyle districts, high‑rises, and iconic workplace brands. At the heart of our studio is an experience‑driven mindset—where brand strategy, storytelling, and spatial design converge to create places people love. As the Brand Director, you will work with clients across industries and the world to express their story in multiple media from spaces and places to digital, print, signage and wayfinding.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with brand team members across the region to develop projects that achieve distinctiveness and recognition for clients and the firm
- Build and maintain excellent client relationships, aware of relevant client information
- Lead and manage the design and detailing of signage and wayfinding systems at all scales
- Manage the detailing of environmental graphics projects at all scales
- Manage project financial performance
- Assist in the development of proposals and collaborate in the strategic development of new business
- Manage project staffing/hours
- Mentor designers in the signage process
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in signage and wayfinding within an architecture or design firm
- Experience in environmental graphic design is a plus
- Experience with concept design through implementation of code signage, wayfinding signage
- Project Management experience; coordinating and keeping projects on schedule, time and on budget
- Ability to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast‑paced environment
- Understanding of room numbering, user journeys with relation to navigation, building code requirements and design standards
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Sketch Up, Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office Suite and the Adobe Creative Suite
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- High level of professionalism and strong sense of urgency
- Ability to work with minimal guidance; proactive, motivated, self‑starter
- Flexibility and ability to handle and manage change effectively and efficiently
- Established success working on multiple tasks/projects at the same time
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the firm, clients, and subcontractors
- Must be able to work overtime on an as‑needed basis

Location & Relocation
This position is in‑person and based in Austin, Texas. Successful candidates should be located in the Austin area; however, we welcome non‑local candidates who are willing to relocate.
