Description

This role is fully accountable for driving end to end creative design and execution for the Skincare category, including development of 360 campaigns across multiple platforms to support overall brand strategy and product positioning.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop thoughtful, innovative 360 concepts across print and digital in line with brand strategy and campaign needs. Responsible for art direction across print and digital platforms. This includes but is not limited to hero ad, hero film, in-store, digital, print, pop‑up stores, event concepts, VR opportunities, video, collateral, etc.
  • Responsible for creative concept, creative brief, shoot brief, on set art direction, and execution of all assets.
  • Participate in Creative briefings, and partner closely with Marketing to understand 360 campaign needs.
  • Ensure the level of excellence in all creative work designed and executed. This includes concept, design, photographic art direction, supervision of retouching, supervision of production, and supervision of all execution for campaign to ensure consistency and cohesiveness.
  • Present to, and collaborate directly with Creative Director.
  • Partner with agencies and supervise all outside services. Provide guidance and lead the team as an extension of the EL Creative team.
  • Partner with Shoot Production team to make sure all assets are captured during shoots.
  • Create innovative design materials including mailers, brochures, magazine inserts, point of purchase display, press kits, invitations, and special projects as needed.
  • Maintain brand strategy, identity, and consistency of the Estee Lauder brand.
  • Provides guidance and direction on regional adaptions while understanding need for local nuance with guidance.

Qualifications

  • Position requires 10+ years professional experience in a creative environment.
  • College degree in Creative Arts, Art Director, Design or related field.
  • Drive for innovation and disruption with cosmetic and luxury mindset (a plus)

  • Awareness of emerging technologies. Proactively seeks diversification of knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Creative integration across all media/sales channels
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, strong presentation skills, ability to personally organize and set priorities. Must be able to interface with Marketing, Merchandising, Packaging, and Store Design departments.
  • Must be aware of current fashion, beauty and lifestyle trends.
  • Must have substantial knowledge of print production including retouching, pre‑press, proofing and be proficient in InDesgin, PhotoShop, and Illustrator.
  • Must be capable of handling numerous projects in a fast‑paced, high‑pressured environment.
  • Must be a responsible self‑starter and be able to work with minimum supervision.
