Sales Consultant, Amarillo

Overview

Johnson Brothers is a leading family‑owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer. We are seeking a Sales Consultant to service on‑premise and retail stores across a defined sales territory.
Responsibilities

Manage sales territory, ensuring consistent customer contact and prudent sales initiatives.
Handle customer issues promptly and professionally.
Sell, service and merchandise products; present effective sales presentations.
Achieve assigned company objectives and grow business.
Identify and nurture new accounts.
Use POS systems and apply merchandising best practices: display size and location, shelf position, cold boxes, counters, windows, etc.
Perform inventory checks and product rotation to minimize order mistakes.
Adhere to company policies, complete paperwork timely and accurately.
Qualifications

BA/BS degree or related industry experience.
Route sales experience (highly preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Goal‑driven and results oriented.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
Reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).
